Manufacturing Associate, Biotech/Pharmaceuticals – Celldex Therapeutics, Inc.

Overview:

As a Manufacturing Associate I/II at Celldex Therapeutics, you’ll work with our team primarily in purification and be cross-trained in cell culture. This position is at our Fall River MA facility.

Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. is developing a pipeline of immunotherapy and targeted cancer therapies. We are conducting clinical trials across multiple product candidates, including a registration study in triple negative breast cancer.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in packing, qualifying and running chromatography columns and setting up and running tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) systems.
* Set-up, sanitize, clean, and maintain chromatography columns and other process equipment. Prepare required media, and buffers. Perform filter integrity testing.
* Assist in Cell Culture with cell counts, bioreactor set-up, maintenance and harvest as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness in the manufacturing area by performing daily and weekly cleaning, as well as cleaning during product changeover.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

* Ability to work in a clean room environment with good aseptic technique.
* Read, write, understand, and work from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Complete required documentation in accordance with cGMP.
* Availability to work primarily day shift; additional hours as necessary during second shift; and as necessary (but rarely) during weekends.
