An 18-year-old Rehoboth man has been charged early this morning with crimes related to the Tuesday night fatal shooting of a 17-year-old North Dighton male, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced.
Joseph Medeiros will be arraigned Wednesday morning in Taunton District Court on charges of involuntary manslaughter, carrying an illegal firearm and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The deceased victim can now be publicly identified as 17-year-old Michael Pacheco, who resided at the 475 Forest Street home where he was fatally shot Tuesday evening.
