State Representative Carole Fiola partnered with Klear Vu President Ben Cooper in providing PPE donations to several organizations in need in the Fall River community. The organizations included Head Start, Bristol Elder Services, and Fall River Public Schools. The total amount of PPE donated included, 750 full face shields, 10,000 Blue Disposable Masks, and 1,000 Assorted Fabric Masks.

Like many local manufacturers such as Merrow, Vanson Leather, and Matouk, Klear Vu has stepped up to assist in the COVID-19 crisis. Klear Vu and their employees pivoted their talents to fill a need locally and nationally to sew hundreds of thousands of masks in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

This is not the first time that Klear Vu has stepped up during this pandemic. When they were contacted back in May, they generously responded with a donation of 5,000 disposable masks and 1,000 reusable masks for the City of Fall River to be made available to the business community and the residents of Fall River.

COVID-19 quarantining by several employees at Klear Vu this week prevented everyone from joining together for a formal presentation of the PPE. Representative Fiola and staff were able to make the deliveries of the PPE to each of the recipients.

“Companies like Klear Vu demonstrate what it means to be part of a community,” stated Representative Fiola. “These are difficult times for all and the pandemic has presented numerous challenges to businesses. Klear Vu demonstrates what it means to be generous and neighborly. We cannot thank them enough for all they have done”.

Klear Vu President Ben Cooper stated: “As a member of the Fall River community we are happy to do our part in keeping our community safe. We appreciate joining with Representative Fiola to identify agencies that will benefit in protecting people from the virus.”

A 3rd generation, Cooper family owned company, Klear Vu has been producing chair cushions and pillows for 93 years. Their clients include Walmart, Amazon, and Kohl’s.
