Taunton Police arrest two in bank robbery
Taunton Police have arrested two men concerning a recent bank robbery in the city.
On January 13, 2020 at 12:28 p.m., the Taunton Police responded to 188 Broadway, Santander Bank, for a report of a robbery.
Upon arrival officers were informed that the suspects had left the bank on foot, after stealing an undisclosed amount of money.
As a result of the investigation, Taunton Police Detectives, working with Massachusetts State Police and the FBI, believed there were two white males involved in the robbery.
Taunton Police Detectives reported that they were looking for two males. One male was described as 5’7” tall with facial hair and wearing a red sweatshirt and Patriots knit hat and the other male was described as 6’ tall wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark pants with black and white sneakers.
Due to work by Detective Mark Brady and the Taunton Police Detective Division, two men were taken into custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday for the bank robbery.
Police have yet to release the identities of the two suspects.
