Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has announced that a 23-year-old pled guilty and was sentenced before the Honorable Thomas McGuire in the Fall River Superior Court.

Trevor Kallman of Taunton was sentenced to serve 2 to 3 years in the State Prison three separate robberies committed between late December 2021 and early January 2022.  This sentence was imposed to run from and after a June 2022 state prison sentence of 3 to 5 years for two previous robbery charges. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Catherine Sauter.

The Taunton Police Department investigated several robberies in the Taunton area between December 2021 and January 2022.  On 12/24/21,  the CVS Pharmacy on Winthrop Street was robbed when an unmasked thin white male approached the clerk, indicated he had a gun and demanded money.  The suspect fled with approximately $300.  On 12/25/21, the Walgreens Pharmacy on Tremont Street was robbed when a tall white male with blue eyes wearing a medical mask approached the clerk and demanded money.  The suspect fled with $600 to $700.  On 1/6/22, the Lavender Laundry on Washington Street was robbed when a tall white male with blue eyes wearing a medical mask demanded money from the clerk.  The suspect fled with $270.  The Dunkin Donuts on Washington Street was also robbed on 1/6/22.

Kallman was arrested when he robbed a Walgreens and CVS in Taunton on 1/8/22 in Taunton.  From those cases Taunton Detective Robert Kramer determined the suspect in the prior Taunton robberies wore similar shoes and clothing items.  The suspect in the prior Taunton robberies also had distinctive facial features consistent with the defendant.  Kallman previously plead guilty to the 1/8/22 robberies and received a State Prison sentence of 3 to 5 years.

“The defendant’s motive for the robberies was an ongoing drug problem which caused fear and terror to the victims. The defendant will serve up to eight years for his robbery spree,” District Attorney Tom Quinn said.
