Taunton crash leads to two injured, one transported by Med Flight
TAUNTON — Police Chief Edward Walsh reports that the Taunton Police Department is investigating a head on crash where two people were injured Wednesday night.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., the Taunton Police and Fire Departments responded to the area of Washington Street and Frederick Martin Parkway for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, first responders came upon a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2007 Mazda Speed3 that had collided.
The operators of both vehicles were injured in the crash. One person was transported by Med Flight to Massachusetts General Hospital the other was taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The crash remains under active investigation by the Taunton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit. Further details will be released when they become available.
