Suspect arrested; man seriously injured after being stabbed multiple times in Fall River
A man has been seriously injured after a city stabbing.
According to Captain Barden Castro, on Thursday at approximately 11:20 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Dwelly and Tuttle Streets for a reported stabbing.
Officer Eric Pacheco arrived on scene and learned that a male victim was suffering from multiple stab wounds. It was determined by officers that the incident took place at an address on Tripp Street. The injuries were described as serious but non-life threatening.
As a result of the investigation, Ofc. Pacheco identified a suspect and requested an arrest warrant for the suspect. On Saturday, Ofc. John Aguiar and Ofc. Mohammed Adelakun were able to locate the suspect and place him under arrest.
Due to the incident being domestic in nature, Fall River Police could not release any further information due to Massachusetts law.
