Surveillance at SouthCoast Marketplace in Fall River results in arrest, list of drugs seized
An investigation has led to the arrest of a Fall River woman on several drug charges.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, on Tuesday, the Vice, Gang, and Intelligence Unit conducted a surveillance operation in the South End of the city.
During that operation, detectives observed a drug transaction take place in the Southcoast Marketplace.
Ashley Cabral, 29, was arrested and charged with possession to distribute a class A drug, trafficking in 18 grams or more of cocaine, trafficking in 200 grams or more of methamphetamine, and possession of a class C drug.
Cabral’s arrest resulted in the seizure of 144 blue glassine bags containing fentanyl, 11.46 grams of crack cocaine, 12.11 grams of cocaine, 293.94 grams of methamphetamine, 52 assorted prescription pills, and $490 in cash.
