Students from Diman Regional in Fall River come away with medals in national competition
Diman students from Fall River and Westport proved their merits on the national stage by taking home some hardware.
According to Diman Regional, 23 students qualified to compete at this year’s 2024 SkillsUSA National Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. 20 out of 23 Diman students placed in the top 10 competitors in the nation.
SkillsUSA is an organization and competition where students hone their personal skills, workplace skills and technical skills against current industry standards in more than 130 occupational areas, from 3-D animation to welding and nearly everything in between.
Here are the Diman medal winners and their respective categories:
GOLD: Elizabeth Kinnane, Haylee Nunes, Johannelys Gonzalez Rivera (Automated Manufacturing Technology)
GOLD: Madison Pereira, Cameron Cadieux, Tye Young (Career Pathways-Industrial and Engineering Technology)
BRONZE: Michael Mosher (CNC 5-Axis Milling Programmer)
