On Thursday, showers and thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall that could
yield urban and poor drainage flooding. A few thunderstorms may produce strong wind gusts.
From Friday through Monday, heat will build across the region. There is the risk across interior portions of Southern New England of reaching heat advisory criteria
with heat indices and/or temperatures at or above 95 degrees for two or more consecutive days. Temperatures for these four days are expected to be in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.
