Stopping for coffee on the way to work leads to $1 million instant game win for Massachusetts man
A simple stop on the way to work resulted in some big bucks for a Massachusetts man recently.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, they saw the first $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “100X The Money” instant ticket game.
William Primo of Fall River purchased his winning ticket while stopping for coffee at Guimond Farms on his way to work. He opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans on using some of his winnings to take a cruise with his wife and buy a car.
Guimond Farms, located at 105 Rhode Island Ave. in Fall River, will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
