During the execution of a court-authorized search warrant, members of the State Police HIDTA Task Force located and seized 55 grams of fentanyl and 10 grams of crack cocaine from inside the residence. Members also located and seized 1 fully loaded 9mm semi-automatic Smith & Wesson inside Cabreja’s vehicle.

The daycare, Promenade Kids, is licensed through the Rhode Island Department of Human Resources and is operated by the owner of the residence, Annette Jordan. During the search warrant it was learned that Cabreja is in a relationship with Jordan’s daughter and was residing with her on the second floor of the residence. There were no children present during the execution of the search warrant. Members of the HIDTA Task Force have contacted the Rhode Island Department of Human Resources and made them aware of the investigation and arrest.
This seizure is the direct result of collaborative efforts between the HIDTA Task Force and the Bristol Police Department in their pursuit of violent, and often armed narcotics distributors. The success of these investigations is attributed to the partnerships of the Rhode Island State Police, participating members of the HIDTA Task Force and other local and federal law enforcement agencies within the State of Rhode Island.
