Starwood employees to raise money for Puerto Rico with huge yard sale
Starwood employees and their families will be donating items to to be included in a community yard sale Saturday October 21st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1630 President Avenue in Fall River.
100% of the proceeds will go to Unidos Por Puerto Rico (United For Puerto Rico) to help the victims affected by the hurricanes in Puerto Rico.
United for Puerto Rico is an initiative brought forth by the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló, in collaboration with the private sector, with the purpose of providing aid and support to those affected in Puerto Rico by the passage of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane María. 100% of the proceeds will go to helping the victims affected by these natural disasters in Puerto Rico.
There will be a wide variety of items including clothing, toys, board games, books, furniture, and household items.
The yard sale will be in the parking lot behind Newport Creamery at the top of President Avenue.
