Stabbing reported in Fall River overnight
The Fall River Police Department is looking into a stabbing incident Sunday.
At approximately 1:00 a.m., Fall River police had a 58 year old male walk into the front lobby with a stab wound to his forearm. According to Sergeant J.T. Hoar, the injury was serious but non life threatening. Officer Markus Watson spoke with the victim regarding the incident who identified the suspect as 46 year old Wayne Laferriere.
Hoar states, however, that there are some significant discrepancies with what was reported to Officer Watson from the victim, such as the exact location of the incident and other facts that were unable to be confirmed.
The matter remains under investigation by FRPD.
