Special Massachusetts boy who died suddenly remembered for infectious positivity and laughter
A Massachusetts boy who died tragically this week is being remembered.
12-year-old Jack Murray of Weymouth died Tuesday after striking a tree in a skiing accident at Cranmore Mountain in New Hampshire.
In an obituary on Friday, his loved ones remembered him for his infectious positivity and laughter.
“He is a loving and patient person who always sees the best in people. Jack is compassionate, empathetic and gives the best hugs. Jack is the greatest child a parent could ask for and we are all better people for having known him.”
The seventh grader at Chapman Middle School was clearly a special boy.
He “was an artist and musician who loved to draw, paint, build, invent, play trombone and drums in the Chapman Middle School Band. He was an entrepreneur who started an eBay store to sell thrift store finds. He sold cookies to local restaurants and sold and drew caricatures for the neighborhood. He even created a clothing brand, shirt designs and built an online store all by himself.”
As if Jack had any more time, he also enjoyed soccer, wrestling, basketball, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and movies at the Cameo with friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday January 5, 2025, from 11AM – 3PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please donate to the Maria Chapman Middle School Band at https://gofund.me/590645ad.
