Southern New England sees second earthquake in three days
Southern New England has experienced its second measurable earthquake in three days.
Today, a magnitude 2.1 earthquake took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. 1 km south southwest of North Plymouth, Massachusetts.
The exact location of the quake was 41.957°N 70.692°W with a depth of 8.9 km according to United States Geological Survey.
MEMA is not aware of any reports of significant issues/damage.
A minor earthquake hit the area on Sunday as a 2.0 earthquake struck 4 km east southeast of Newport, Rhode Island.
