SouthCoast Wind to host drop-in session for Somerset and Swansea residents
Fall River, MA – SouthCoast Wind, a developer of an offshore wind lease area off the coast of Massachusetts, is hosting a community session on its proposed onshore and nearshore project activities at Brayton Point in Somerset, MA.
Discussion topics include:
· Nearshore cable installation activities
· Onshore construction activities
· Swansea and Somerset community benefits
· Brayton Point converter station and grid connection
· Project update and next steps
Somerset and Swansea residents are encouraged to attend this free, public event on Tuesday, November 12th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Hotel, 602 Grand Army of the Republic Hwy., Somerset, MA 02726.
