SouthCoast Wind is Hosting an Open House Event for Somerset and Swansea Residents
Fall River, MA – SouthCoast Wind, a developer of an offshore wind lease area off the coast of Massachusetts, is hosting a presentation and Q&A session on its proposed onshore and nearshore project activities at Brayton Point.
Key topics to be discussed:
· Mt. Hope Bay & Lee River Cable Installation Activities
· Somerset, MA Onshore Construction Activities
· Brayton Point Converter Station and Grid Connection
· SouthCoast Wind Project Updates and Next Steps
Somerset and Swansea residents are encouraged to attend this free, public event on Thursday, April 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. No registration is required.
The presentation will take place at the Swansea Senior and Community Center, 260 Ocean Grove Ave, Swansea, MA 02777. Parking is available at 25 Sunnyslope Drive in Swansea.
