Southcoast Health’s Heart & Vascular program opening new location next week
TAUNTON, Mass. – On Monday, October 28th, Southcoast Health’s award-winning Heart & Vascular program will begin seeing patients at the health system’s new Taunton location.
Southcoast Health Heart & Vascular shares its location at 772 County Street, between the intersection of Routes 140 and 24 and Hart’s Four Corners, with Southcoast Health Urgent Care, which opened on October 13th.
Interventional cardiologist Adnan Sultan, MD, will see patients at the new location two days per month from 1 to 4pm, beginning on October 28. Dr. Sultan is Board Certified in General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He brings specialized training in minimally invasive, catheter-based interventions to treat people with complex coronary artery disease.
“Dr. Sultan brings essential expertise in advanced interventional cardiology to the Greater Taunton community,” said Peter Cohn, MD, Chief of Southcoast Health Heart & Vascular. “In the coming months we will be adding additional services, including labs and imaging, so that patients can access high-quality, comprehensive heart care within one building – and without needing to travel long distances.”
