Southcoast Health Family Medicine Practice in Fall River recognized with Massachusetts Patient Experience Award
For the second time, the Southcoast Health Family Medicine Practice in Fall River is a 2025 winner of the Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) Patient Experience Award. This year, they were recognized as one of only 35 practices across the state to be named to the list. It is the only statewide survey dedicated to measuring patient experience in primary care across Massachusetts.
“I am very proud of this team for the exceptional work they do every day to ensure our patients receive the best care possible,” said John Podkowa, DO, Executive Chief of Primary Care at Southcoast Health. “What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that it is based on direct patient feedback about their experience.”
In total, results were collected from 4,036 primary care clinicians at 876 practices across Massachusetts. The awards program honors primary care practices that achieve the highest scores from their patients on MHQP’s annual Patient Experience Survey.
“Each year, we are proud to celebrate the practices that have earned this distinction,” said Barbra Rabson, President and CEO of MHQP. “Even as primary care faces ongoing challenges, these organizations continue to deliver outstanding patient experiences. On behalf of patients across Massachusetts, we commend their unwavering dedication to excellence.”
