Soon you will need to be vaccinated if attending an event at TD Garden
Earlier this week, Mayor Wu announced “B Together,” the City of Boston’s new vaccine requirements for certain indoor spaces, including TD Garden. Beginning on January 15, 2022, the Celtics and TD Garden will update their arena entry criteria to comply with these requirements.
TD Garden will continue to enforce current Play It Safe protocols until Boston’s four-phase B Together policy takes effect. Beginning with the game against Chicago on January 15, 2022, fans ages 12 and older will be required to show proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine to attend any TD Garden event, including Celtics games. Over time, the policy will phase in new vaccine requirements for people aged 12 and older and, eventually, all fans 5 years of age and over. The City of Boston’s existing indoor mask mandate will also remain in effect for fans 2 years of age and older until further notice.
