Somerset woman who allegedly stole over $34,000, arraigned, released Monday
A 51 year old Somerset woman, who allegedly stole nearly $35,000 from the Somerset-Berkley Regional High School Athletic Boosters Club, was arraigned this morning in Fall River District Court.
According to WPRI 12, Dulce Pacheco, 51, was released following her arraignment today and is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on May 8.
According to Greg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, a criminal complaint against Pacheco was issued in Fall River District Court. Pacheco was charged with larceny over $1,200 by a single scheme.
The defendant, who was the Treasurer of the Somerset-Berkley Regional High School Athletic Boosters Club, is alleged to have stolen $34,500 from the private non-profit group. It is further alleged she then used the stolen money to pay off her mortgage.
