Somerset, Swansea firefighters extinguish fully involved fire that destroys home, displaces residents
Firefighters from multiple communities responded to a major Sunday morning blaze in Somerset that displaced a family.
A call came into dispatch at just after 8:45 a.m. for a fire at a residence at 7 Deer Street.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that the home was fully involved with heavy fire on the side of the building.
Everyone had evacuated prior to arrival.

Crews from Swansea also responded to the scene and Fall River provided station coverage. Providence Canteen was requested to the home.
According to people on scene, some pets were rescued, and a cat was still missing.
The fire was knocked down at approximately 10:00 a.m.
