UPDATE: Somerset Police find missing and endangered teen
UPDATE: Somerset Police report that Max has been located safely and will soon be reunited with his family. SPD thanks those who called and messaged with information and a huge thank you to law enforcement partners for their assistance.

Somerset Police are looking for a missing teen.
14-year-old Max Pasternak has been missing since approximately 3:30 p.m. today after leaving a note informing his parents that he was “leaving home.”
Max is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 230 lbs.
He has brown hair and blue eyes.
Max is most likely dressed in a t-shirt of unknown color and shorts (possibly red). He may also be carrying a small green colored backpack.
His last known location was the Elm Street area of Somerset.
SPD is currently searching with assistance from the MSP Air Wing as well as MSP and Bristol County Sheriffs K-9 Units.
Police are concerned for Max’s wellbeing and are asking that anyone who may have seen Max or may have information about his whereabouts to please contact the Somerset Police Department by dialing 911 or calling 508-679-2138.
