Somerset Police find 3 severely injured people from stab wounds at hotel

Authorities discovered a disturbing find on Saturday night.

According to police, earlier in the evening, Somerset Police Officers responded to a medical call at the Riverview Inn & Suites located on Wilbur Avenue. Once on scene, the officers entered a room to find three severely injured people suffering from serious apparent stab wounds.

After the room was secured by officers, Somerset Fire Paramedics provided aid to the injured. Somerset and Swansea medical rescues were used to transport the patients to area trauma hospitals.

Somerset Detectives responded to the scene in order to investigate the incident and process the crime scene.

Chief William Tedford stated the incident was isolated to one room in the motel and there is no reason for the general public to be concerned at this time.
