Somerset man arrested after being accused of crashing into same car twice in same day
It is a rough day when you get into one car accident, never mind two involving the same driver.
According to Detective John Robinson, on February 9th, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Fall River Police Officers responded to Milliken Boulevard in response to a motor vehicle collision. FRPD Officer John Aguiar learned that David M. Dias, 53, had struck a 27-year-old Fall River resident’s vehicle twice. The first time occurred at President Avenue and North Main where the victim exchanged operator information and told Dias to get off the road because he was too drunk. The second time was on Milliken Boulevard where Dias rear-ended her vehicle at a red light, which caused her to hit her face on the steering wheel.
Dias, with a last known address of 52 Thomas Drive in Somerset, was charged with OUI-Liquor 2nd offense and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
