Somerset high school student born in Fall River dies suddenly
Another local teen has sadly passed away.
17-year-old Amanda Lynn O’Connell of Somerset, passed away suddenly on September 20th.
According to an obituary, “Amanda was a student at Somerset-Berkley High School and worked at the Subway Restaurant in Somerset. She was known for her sweet nature and beautiful smile. Amanda cherished spending time with her family, especially on camping trips and car rides with her mom. She had a passion for shopping and a deep love for animals. She often talked about her dreams of traveling the world, a dream she will now carry with her in peace.”
An 18-year-old with Fall River and Somerset ties also passed away suddenly on the 20th.
Amanda’s funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Monday, September 30th at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Sunday, September 29th from 3-6 PM.
