Somerset bar and grill changing ownership; here are the differences that you can expect
A Somerset establishment is undergoing an ownership change, but not all aspects will be altered.
Kaitlyn Burns went in front of the Board of Selectmen recently to transfer a Common Victualer-All Alcoholic Beverage License from Albert Monte, manager of Grid Somerset at 150 Slades Ferry Avenue to herself.
Burns stated that she plans on keeping the Grid Somerset staff and much of what patrons know and love, however, she does plan on expanding the menu.
A homestyle food element will be added where Burns’ husband’s grandmother’s recipes will be added such as chili and biscuits.
Burns was granted the license transfer.
Grid Somerset has been known for serving local sports bar fare, entertainment, music, drinks, and a friendly atmosphere.
