Some fun is on the agenda for a Massachusetts woman after hitting $1 million prize on State Lottery game

A Massachusetts woman has some fun planned after hitting big money on a State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Deanna Bakke of Salem is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Cashword” $30 instant ticket game.

She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Bakke plans to go on vacation using some of her winnings. 

She purchased her winning ticket at 3N Convenience, 3 Paradise Rd. in Salem. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$10,000,000 Cashword has three $10,000,000 and six $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
