Small child, adult man found shot to death in Rhode Island home

Tragedy has struck at a Rhode Island home on Thursday morning.

According to police, at approximately 8:24 a.m., members of the Warwick Police Department responded to 71 Frawley Street for a domestic disturbance.

Prior to arrival, police received information that a child had been shot and the alleged assailant was still inside the home with a firearm. 

Officers gained entry into the home and discovered the deceased body of a small child as well as an adult male who was also deceased: having suffered from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

No other details were immediately released.
