Silver Alert issued after Pawtucket man with dementia possibly operating car
A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing local man.
According to police, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Pawtucket Police took a report of a missing 78-year-old male with dementia last seen at 11:00 a.m. operating a red Hyundai Elantra with RI registration 788-781.
The missing person is named Dennis Coursen and was last seen wearing a flannel shirt, a US NAVY Veterans ball cap, and black gloves.
Dennis was supposedly in route to RI Veterans Affairs Hospital.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
