Sick Tiverton boy to meet his favorite team and player after outpouring of support
10-year-old ill Tiverton boy, who made a bucket list, will get to knock one of his wishes off of his list.
This week we posted an editorial about Shawny from his aunt, Ashley Smith, who lives in Fall River, expressing how Shawny has terminal brain cancer and is creating a bucket list.
On Shawny’s list was going to Philly to see Lincoln Financial Field where his favorite football team the Eagles play and meeting Fletcher Cox his favorite football player. A follower of ours tagged a friend of Fletcher Cox and notified Cox of Shawny’s wish. Many others reached out to the Eagles and Cox also. This afternoon, Cox posted this on Instagram.
