Showers, thunderstorms expected Wednesday, flooding possible
The National Weather Service has announced a chance for some hazardous weather throughout the area.
Here is their outlook for Wednesday.
Wednesday Morning…
Numerous showers and embedded thunderstorms are expected Wednesday morning. The main threat being localized street flooding for the AM commute. However, a low risk exists for an isolated, embedded severe thunderstorm. Potential threats would be a damaging wind gust or two as well as the low risk for a brief tornado.
Wednesday Afternoon…
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to redevelop Wednesday afternoon. While the activity will be more hit and miss than during the morning, there is the greater risk for a few strong to severe thunderstorms. The main threats would be locally strong to
damaging wind gusts. Heavy rain with any thunderstorms will bring the risk for brief street flooding.
