Several Rhode Island crews give 3-year-old leukemia patient unforgettable experience in hero’s escort
Several Rhode Island agencies gave a young child a day that will never be forgotten.
According to police, on Friday, Cranston Police, Cranston Fire, Providence Police, East Providence Police, North Providence Police, Pawtucket Police, RI State Police, and Cranston Mayor Ken Hopkins provided a hero’s escort for 3-year-old Aspen to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
Aspen completed 2 years of treatment Friday for leukemia, which included a marrow transplant.
Enzo’s Escorts is a statewide police & fire organization in Rhode Island, which offers RI children VIP escorts to and/or from their home on their last day of cancer treatment.
For the past 3 years, Enzo’s Escorts has provided over 30 children escorts on their final day of treatment for cancer! For more information, visit Enzo’s Escort on Facebook.
Good luck Aspen!
