Several injured, one critical, one serious, one cited in Fall River crash
Four have been injured and one cited in a Fall River crash.
According to Police, the crash occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday at the rear entrance of the SouthCoast Marketplace on Stafford Road. A vehicle was going on to Stafford Road when it was struck.
Sergeant J.T. Hoar has confirmed that one 17 year old juvenile was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with life threatening injuries. He remains there in critical condition.
A 34-year old male was also transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is in serious condition.
Two other females involved in the crash, one 37 years old and one 47 years old were transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital for treatment. They are listed in fair condition.
Accident reconstruction Unit, Major Crimes Division And Crime Scene Detectives were on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
At this time the 37 year old female has been initially summonsed for Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Further charges may come.
Fall River Police are withholding all names at this time out of respect of privacy due to their medical conditions.
