Several inches of snow expected this weekend
According to the National Weather Service, the potential exists for several inches of snow.
According to the National Weather Service, the potential exists for several inches of snow Saturday night, ending by daybreak Sunday. However, where the axis of heaviest snow sets up and potential for rain to mix in along the immediate south coast and Cape/Islands remains uncertain. Winter weather headlines will likely be needed. The timing of the snow should limit the impact to travel, but there is a low risk for isolated power outages if higher amounts are realized and a swath of 6+ inches impacts the coastal plain.
Snow, in the Fall River area is expected mainly after 11pm Saturday with a chance of snow until 7am Sunday.
The event is still 2 days away so the graphics will likely change somewhat.
Stay tuned for forecast changes.
