Services have been announced for a Rehoboth man who was entrenched in helping those in the Fall River area with faith and homelessness.
According to Spindle City Church, while on his way home from serving at the TIMAO homeless shelter in Fall River, Pastor Brian Weeks was in a serious car accident on early Monday morning, Jan.13,2025.
In this accident he sustained multiple injuries that required various surgeries and rehabilitation.
It was announced on Tuesday that Weeks had passed away.
According to his website, Pastor Weeks began ministering in 1972 and had served as a pastor to both youth and young adults. He also served as an associate pastor for eleven years, and then for 25 years as a senior pastor, apostolic missionary, and church planter. In March of 2017 he released his church Solomon’s Porch (later named Spindle City Church), but in order to remain part of the local church, continued to serve among its several pastors.
In 2008 Pastor Brian formed Brian Weeks Ministries to facilitate his call to travel nationally and internationally. His travels took him to Haiti, Ukraine, India, Romania, the Dominican Republic, Canada, Moldova and many places within the United States. He had ministered in Evangelical, Charismatic, Episcopal, Catholic, Black Pentecostal, Dutch Reform, Vineyard, Methodist, Baptist, Anglican, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian and Faith Churches to name a few.
His ministry included teaching, training leaders and pastors through pastors’ conferences, youth conferences, and Bible Schools, as well as doing prophetic ministry in these same settings.
Pastor Brian had co-planted two churches and had planted three others. His most recent church plant was birthed on Christmas Eve 2009.
