Services announced for long-time Fall River teacher that left impact on former students
A Fall River woman that had a profound impact on students that lasted into adulthood has died.
65-year-old Anne-Marie Peck passed away at her home earlier this month.
According to an obituary, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and received an Associate’s degree from Bristol Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the former Southern Massachusetts University (now UMass Dartmouth), and a Master’s degree in education from Boston University.
Peck is most remembered as a beloved kindergarten teacher at Temple Beth El and Atlantis Charter School for many years. Her family stated that her greatest joy were her students whom she adored.
The news of Peck’s passing left her former students reflecting on the imprint she left. She was described as an amazing and caring teacher with a beautiful heart.
Her Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 10:30AM to 12:30PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a service in the Funeral Home at 12:30PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
