Services announced for 31-year-old Fall River man killed in city shooting
Services have been announced for a Fall River man killed late last month.
31-year-old Taiquan Teixeira died from injuries sustained in a shooting on November 22nd.
According to an obituary, prior to his passing, Teixeira “was an artist, professional funny guy, and an entertainer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved music, and rescuing animals. Most notably, Taiquan was kind, generous, forgiving, charismatic, had the biggest heart, and would always leave a positive impact on anyone he met.”
His Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., Fall River, from 5-8 PM.
According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III, a suspect in Teixeira’s murder, 32-year-old Kendrick Williams of Fall River, was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida, and charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon causing Serious Bodily Injury, Carrying a Firearm Subsequent Offense, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm. Williams is still in Florida.
