Serious crash in Tiverton leaves two injured
A major motor vehicle accident has occurred this afternoon.
A major motor vehicle accident has occurred this afternoon.
The multi vehicle crash, which took place on Bulgarmarsh Road at Mulberry Lane in Tiverton, occurred just before 1:30 p.m. where a box truck rolled over.
The road had been closed until further notice according to Tiverton Police, but has since been re-opened.
The Medflight helicopter landed at Tiverton Middle School before 2:00 p.m. and transported one victim to Rhode Island Hospital. Both Tiverton Fire and Police are currently on scene. Two were believed to be injured in the crash.
According to WJAR 10, a person was pinned underneath the overturned box truck.
