Sections of President Ave. and intersecting streets in Fall River expected to temporarily close
(FALL RIVER, MA- SEPTEMBER 22, 2023)- The Fall River Department of Community Utilities-Sewer Commission would like to inform residents that sections of President Avenue from Elsbree St. to Robeson Street and intersecting streets will be potentially closed to thru traffic over the week of Monday, September 25th to Sunday, October 1st. This road closure is due to final paving work that will be occurring throughout the week.
On the morning of Thursday, September 28th, pavement milling in the intersection of Robeson Street and President Avenue will take place. This is for preparation of the final paving that will occur on Saturday, September 30th beginning at 4 a.m.
Residents are advised to please seek an alternate route if available. If using an alternate route is not feasible, please use caution and follow detours as marked. All work is dependent on the weather and the schedule can be adjusted if unforeseen issues occur.
