Search warrant leads to Fall River drug arrest
On Wednesday, January 10th at approximately 5:30 p.m., Fall River Police Department Vice and Intelligence detectives executed a search warrant
On Wednesday, January 10th at approximately 5:30 p.m., Fall River Police Department Vice and Intelligence detectives executed a search warrant at 221 Fourth Street in Fall River on the second floor. Detective Joshua Robillard was the lead detective and Amanda Pestana was the target. Detective Robillard was assisted by Detectives Steven Washington, Gary Barboza, Luis Duarte, Tryce Garrant, Richard Aguiar, James Elumba, and Athans Parousis.
During the execution of the search warrant, Detectives secured the occupant identified as Amanda Pestana and subsequently searched the apartment and located two scales in a bedroom, a box of baking soda and 2 boxes of sandwich bags in another bedroom. A bag of suspected crack cocaine weighing approximately 1.6 grams was located under a chair.
Amanda L. Pestana Age 27 with a last known address of 221 Fourth Street second floor in Fall River was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Class B substance with intent to Distribute.
