Sam Sutter announces second run for mayor of Fall River
A former Fall River mayor is throwing his hat into the ring again.
According to those who were present, Former District Attorney Sam Sutter announced a run for mayor at a gathering at his home last evening with supporters.
Sutter made the announcement that he will be a candidate for Mayor for the City of Fall River in the 2023 election.
Sam was introduced by his wife Dottie Sutter before addressing supporters.
A formal announcement and a campaign kick-off are expected in the months to come.
Sutter has recently been working as an attorney in Fall River.
The former mayor defeated incumbent William Flanagan in 2014 in a recall election and in 2015 lost his bid for re-election to Jasiel Correia.
