Salvation Army accepting donations for Thanksgiving Turkey Drive
The Salvation Army’s annual Holiday Turkey Drive kicked off on November 1st. This year, they will need to collect 1,800 turkeys for families in need.
Frozen turkeys and other donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army at 290 Bedford Street, Fall River, at all three Domino’s Pizza locations in Fall River, at RDA Insurance on 155 North Main Street in Fall River and at all Fall River Municipal Credit Union locations in Fall River, Swansea and Assonet. Non-perishable food can be dropped off at BayCoast and BankFive locations.
In addition to accepting donations for the event, BankFive has also donated $1,000 to support the purchasing of Thanksgiving turkeys and fixings for those in need.
