Rides, food, live entertainment, giant barn sale and more coming to Freetown’s Lakeside Family Festival

St. John Neumann Parish is pleased to announce their 40th Annual free admission Lakeside Family Festival to be held at St. John Neumann Parish grounds on Route 18 (157 Middleboro Road) in East Freetown on Memorial Day weekend, May 22nd – May 25th.

Many activities and special events are planned that will be looking to entertain young and old alike.

There will be amusement rides for all ages, a large variety of ethnic and American foods, midway games of skill and chance, and the popular giant barn sale with hundreds of items to choose from. Live entertainment will also be taking place throughout the festival.

For those who want to nibble on some delicious snacks- they will have a homemade baked goods table with a large assortment of cakes, bars and squares, with some diabetic and gluten free options.

The Lakeside Family Festival creates a family atmosphere which is why no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds.

The festival will open on Friday May 22nd at 6:00 p.m. and close at 11:00 p.m. (food and games 6-10:00 p.m.) On Saturday and Sunday, it will run from noon to 11:00 p.m. (food and games noon-9:00 p.m.) On Monday its operating times will be from noon to 5:00 p.m. for rides, food, and games.

There is no cash accepted for any rides, games, or food and also no tickets. You can reload your Fiesta Shows Fair Pass at any self-service kiosk. Parking is free.

The popular Annual Antique and Classic Car Show will no longer take place in memory of John Remedis who ran the beloved car show for many years.
