Rhode Island man killed in motorcycle crash remembered as dedicated father, incredibly hard working
A man has died after a Tuesday morning motorcycle crash.
According to police, at approximately 7:00 a.m., members of the Smithfield Police Department, and the members of the Smithfield Fire Department, responded to the area of 416 Farnum Pike for a report of a crash involving a single motorcycle.
The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on scene. The operator was identified as 37-year-old Roland Beauvais of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Beauvais is being remembered as a selfless, incredibly hardworking man, who was a dedicated father and a one-of-a-kind type of man. When news of his death began to spread, memories and condolences poured in.
The cause of the accident, and any contributing factors, still remain under investigation.
