UPDATE: Two resource fairs scheduled, donation update, benefit in the works for Fall River fire victims
The City of Fall River continues its collaboration with multiple agencies and organizations to provide resources for those who have been affected by the fire at Four Winds.
They will be hosting a resource center for those affected on Sunday, January 6th from 12pm to 4pm as well as on Tuesday, January 8th from 1pm to 7pm at City Hall in Fall River. ( 1 Government Center, Fall River, Ma 02722 )
Partner resources available at the events will include service agencies such as United Way along with other state and local partners including the City of Fall River, and many more.

Ride reservations can be made by calling the mayor’s office at 508-324-2600 or by emailing mayor@fallriverma.org.
Monetary donations can be made at all St. Anne’s Credit Union locations. Tell them you wish to contribute to the Fall River Wives Association for the Four Winds Fire.
You can mail donations to Firefighter Wives Association P.O. Box 423, Somerset, Ma 02726
You can make gift card donations at Fire Department Headquarters at 140 Commerce Drive in Fall River.
-Gift Cards for food (local restaurants, grocery stores) can be dropped off at Community Development Agency, 4th Floor of Government Center Room 414.
-Pet food and supplies can be dropped off at Pet Smart in Fall River and/or Swansea as well as Forever Paws Animal Shelter on 300 Lynwood Street in Fall River.
-Servpro Fall River at 2407 South Main Street will be accepting personal care items and gift. Cards on Saturday January 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
-Due to the overwhelming donations of clothing that have already been made, it is being asked to hold off on donating any more clothing until what has already been collected is organized and distributed.
There will be a toy drive on Sunday noon to 5:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph’s Church 1335 North Main Street. New toy donations in the box that can be wrapped and presented to the 13 children that lost their toys will be accepted.
A fundraiser is also in the works at Boneheads Live on Water Street in Fall River for Saturday, February 2nd. The Firefighter Wives are looking for bands, raffle items, food, etc. and volunteers.
