Report of stolen vehicle in southeastern Massachusetts leads to two arrests on drug and other charges
The reported theft of a vehicle led to the arrest of two men on drug and various charges in southeastern Massachusetts.
According to Plymouth Police, on Wednesday, Carver Police were following a stolen vehicle on South Meadow Road and followed it into Plymouth, which yielded a response from Plymouth PD.
Officers say that clear indicators of drug use also brought the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department and their K9 “Rusty” to the scene.
The vehicle that was stolen was operated by Peter Hammarberg, 37, of Plymouth. Peter had a suspended license, was operating a stolen M/V, and was in possession of heroin which led to his arrest, according to police.
Peter’s passenger, Brandon Pratt, 29, of Raynham, was arrested after a scale, numerous baggies of heroin, and a large amount of cash were found on his person. He was charged with Possession of a class A substance, subsequent offense, and possession with intent to distribute a class A drug.
