Report of dog jumping from car window on Route 24 in Massachusetts a cautionary tale
A cautionary tale for those bringing dogs on highway trips.
According to multiple reports, a dog was run over and killed on Route 24 in Stoughton at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Fall River Reporter contacted Massachusetts State Police and it was stated that they had nothing in their logs on the incident in question, however, two people expressed that they saw the dog either fall or jump out of a car window before being run over.
This isn’t the first incident this past year where someone stated that they saw a dog jump out of a car window.
With the warmer weather coming, more drivers will be tempted to roll down the window and let their beloved pet enjoy the breeze.
Pets are often considered a member of the family and we would hate to see this happen to another dog owner.

Dogs are supposed to be restrained in car and out in public! Lot of imbeciles out there that don’t care about their pets safety!
