Rehoboth Police, Massachusetts State Police investigating after 67-year-old man found dead lying in driveway

Local authorities are investigating after a Bristol County man was found dead.

According to police, on Monday, at just after 9:00 a.m., the Rehoboth Police Department responded to a residence on Brook Street for an unidentified man who was lying unconscious in the driveway of the home.

Patrol Officers arrived along with the Rehoboth Ambulance, and the unidentified man was pronounced deceased. There was no sign of trauma to the body, suspicious circumstances or threat to the public.

The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office was called and responded to the scene.

During the investigation the unidentified person’s identity was confirmed to be a 67-year-old man from a home nearby.

This case remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit with the assistance of the Rehoboth Police Detective Unit.
